Say hello to a tasty offer at one of Gloucester's most popular pubs, with Dr Foster launching a brand-new set menu this spring.

Available from Monday to Thursday from 5pm until close, the waterside restaurant invites diners to indulge in two tasty courses for just £19.

Dive into starters like soup of the day with sourdough and butter, chipotle chicken wings with chive sour cream, crispy calamari or pea, mint and smoked chilli hummus flat bead with chickpeas, pickles, kale and dukkah.

For mains, savour classics such as beer battered catch of the day, slow cooked pork belly, or a meaty eight ounce rump steak. Veggie and vegan options include bertha roasted cauliflower and wild mushroom and lentil lasagne.

Rupert Davison, executive chef for Dr Foster, said: 'One of the most popular dishes at the pub is our roast pork dish. Just outside Gloucester, Cam Butchers turns out a seriously good pork cutlet, thick, juicy and packed with flavour.

'We serve this with a black pudding bubble and squeak, charcoal roasted leek and a roasted apple sauce. It’s paired with a rich cider jus made from Henry Weston’s finest, giving it a deep, tangy hit that cuts through the richness.'

Please note, menus are subject to change.
