Cheltenham's historic fire station gets a new lease of life this Christmas, as Mad Dog Brewery Co takes over the venue – opening on Saturday 13 December 2025.
And it's giving away a free pint to the first 100 customers, with the doors opening at 12pm.
Mad Dog Brewery's 100 per cent natural beers are brewed with water from the Brecon Beacons and ingredients sourced from UK suppliers, with all of its beers being vegan and free from artificial preservatives – and its core range being certified gluten-free, too.
The family owned and run brewing company already has taprooms in Cardiff, Brighton and Tunbridge Wells, with the Cheltenham venue being its fourth opening in four years.
Mad Dog Brewery's managing director, Tim Waters, said: 'It’s exciting to be opening the doors of our new Cheltenham Taproom in December – it’s important for local businesses, the wider economy and society as a whole that we keep the pub industry alive.

What's on the menu at Mad Dog Brewery Co Cheltenham?
Customers at the new Cheltenham taproom can enjoy its core range of beers, including Kolsch style lager, Welsh red ale, American pale ale, oatmeal stout and its iconic marmalade IPA.
The taproom will also serve freshly prepared food including smoked barbecue meats, lunchtime small plates and Sunday lunches.
