From sparkling starters to sumptuous puddings, Cotswold Inns & Hotels' festive Prix Fixe menu is a celebration of the season.

Cotswold Inns & Hotels is inviting diners to celebrate the magic of Christmas in the Cotswolds with its new festive Prix Fixe menu.

Designed to stir the senses and tell the story of the season, the menu offers three courses celebrating comfort, craftsmanship and good company – available across its seven Cotswold venues from Bibury to Westonbirt.

The festive feast begins with a sparkling selection of starters, featuring a medley of flavours and textures – from silky whipped chicken liver parfait with black cherry and pickled shallot, served on brioche toasted until golden; zingy and refreshing beetroot and apple tartare, with pickled mustard seeds and goat's curd (or a plant-based alternative); classic king prawn cocktail, with plump prawns and sweet cherry tomatoes dressed in a light Marie Rose sauce and served with a crisp seaweed cracker; to a truly elegant dish of cured salmon with smoked salmon rillette and horseradish buttermilk.

Promising a 'showcase of winter indulgence', main courses include Usk Vale turkey breast with all the trimmings, including pigs in blankets and cranberry sauce, of course; or a rich venison loin with braised faggot, sweet potato terrine and blackberry jus.

A sophisticated seafood option is pan-roasted stone bass with crispy potato, brown shrimp salad and a zesty sauce vierge; while for vegetarians, there's a buttery, nutty butternut squash ravioli with goat's cheese, roasted squash and crunchy pumpkin seeds; or for plant-based diners, there's wild mushroom polenta with a medly of earthy mushrooms, artichokes, pickled walnut pesto and bitter radicchio.

Promising puddings to end on a high note, choose from an indulgent dark chocolate delice with sour cherries and cocoa nib tuile; zesty mandarin tart with redcurrants and vanilla crémeux; mulled wine pavlova; or a twist on the classic, a sticky toffee Christmas pudding enrobed in toffee sauce and served with spiced rum butter cream.

Cheese lovers aren't left out either, with the Baron Bigod cheese plate with date and walnut cake, grapes and pickled celery providing a fantastic finale for those who prefer savoury to sweet.

The Festive Prix Fixe menu costs £47 per person for three courses – with the option to add a glass of prosecco or English sparkling wine for £10 per person, or a glass of Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée NV for £14 per person – and is available at The Bay Tree, The Bear of Rodborough, The Hare & Hounds, The Lamb Inn, The Close, The Manor House and The Swan during November and December 2025.
