Offering a unique 'dining under canvas' experience, Josser Restaurant captured the hearts of Gloucestershire foodies last year – and it's back for a two-year residency with twice as many covers this spring.
Returning to St Michael's Park in Cirencester this April 2026, the pop-up restaurant from The Circus Chef Ols Halas and wife Amber, will once again feature a seasonal menu inspired by its surroundings and an immersive experience for guests – and it's offering Sunday lunch for the first time in 2026, too.
At its sought after 'dining under canvas' nights, diners are invited to follow the fairy lights to a lovingly converted wag 'n' drag lorry, which serves as a professional kitchen, restaurant and home for Ols and Amber, to enjoy a multi-course, open-air dining experience under the stars.
Brand-new for 2026, as well as evening services, Josser is hosting Sunday Lunch in the Park, promising one of the most unique roast dinner experiences in the Cotswolds, for a twist on this comforting tradition.
Communal oak tables encourage conversation and community, so guests can forge new friendships, while the menu celebrates local food culture by using the very best seasonal, Cotswolds produce, combined with Ols' signature creative flair.
The bar resides in a vintage circus wagon, adding to the sense of whimsy and wonder at this unique foodie experience.
And, for relaxed daytime dining, The J Kiosk also returns, serving up flatbreads, artisan coffee and fresh juice.
Ols said: 'After a fantastic first season, we were thrilled to be invited back to St Michael’s Park. We had such incredible support and welcomed hundreds of guests in 2025, so it is an honour to be asked to return.
'We pour our hearts into every service and being able to bring people together, share incredible food and create memorable moments under the open sky – that's what Josser is all about. We cannot wait to welcome guests back this spring.'
Josser Restaurant reopens for the spring/summer season on Friday 3 April 2026.
Dinner under canvas costs £65 per person and is available on Friday and Saturday nights; Sunday lunch is available from 1pm, costing £40 per adult, £25 per child aged five to 15 and is free for children under four; and The J Kiosk is open from 10am to 4pm Wednesday to Sunday.
