Sunday lunches in the Cotswolds will have a distinctly fresh flavor this autumn as three acclaimed London chefs bring a unique twist to the traditional roast scene in Gloucestershire.
Starting on Sunday 28 September 2025, Eroshan Meewella, co-founder of Kolamba, London’s contemporary Sri Lankan restaurant group, will bring the vibrant flavours of Colombo to the Cotswolds.
Diners at The Kingham Plough can expect dishes such as grilled king prawns with green mango and papaya salad, jaggery short rib and payasam.
He'll be followed by Josh Katz, founder of Berber & Q, on Sunday 19 October 2025.
Josh will be serving up smoky, fire-driven dishes that fuse North African and Eastern Mediterranean flavours with a flair of American barbecue.
His menu will feature seasonal mezze alongside smoked and grilled meats, with charred vegetables capturing the essence of Berber & Q’s bold, spice-rich cooking.
To round off the fusion of fresh flavours at the 17th-century pub, Rafael Liuth, executive chef of The Jugged Hare, London’s iconic game-focused gastropub is bringing his mastery of British game to the Kingham finale.
On Sunday 16 November 2025, he's promised a menu rooted in tradition that will showcase the finest seasonal ingredients with bold flavours, sharp execution and a few clever surprises in true Jugged Hare style.
Owners of The Kingham Plough, Matt and Katie Beamish, say that while each chef brings their own perspective, all menus remain grounded in the pub’s ethos of seasonal, ingredient-led cooking.
Each Sunday service will consist of a four-course menu priced at £65 per person, served from 12pm to 3pm and 6pm to 7.30pm.
The Kingham Plough will also offer a smaller, child-friendly version of the Sunday service menus for £25 per person.
