One of Cheltenham's largest care homes, St Faith's, is getting a makeover this autumn 2025, with a brand-new residential wing being unveiled – with the moniker of Coxes Haven.
Part of the Lilian Faithfull Care network of care homes, the new wing at St Faith's is due for completion in late November and will feature a ground-floor 'transformation' with refreshed communal spaces and 18 refurbished bedrooms all part of the upgrades.
The new wing is designed to 'further embed the home's philosophy of being a "home for life"' allowing its team of staff to offer continuity of care regardless of whether individual care needs change with time.
And part of the benefits of the new wing include increased access to the range of in-house treatment specialists, such as physiotherapy, hairdressing, wellness, enrichment and podiatry – all alongside the 24/7 nursing care.
Home manager at St Faith's, Teresa Weis, said: 'Although St Faith’s is a large nursing home, all our staff are on first-name terms and we maintain an open-door policy so that residents, families and staff alike always feel heard and supported.
'With the new wing, we are proud to be strengthening our commitment to providing a home for life and offering families the reassurance that their loved ones won’t have to move home, even if their care needs change in the future.'
Located near to Cheltenham Ladies' College in the heart of Regency Cheltenham, St Faith's celebrates 51 years in 2025, with a proud history of providing specialist support for people living with dementia, alongside other complex needs.
Its Fairhaven Suite also offers dedicated and compassionate palliative and end-of-life care, too.
