The Cotswolds has been named as one of the best places to watch the sunrise in the UK.
The region has ranked third in a study conducted by motorhome company Choose Leisure, which analysed 36 destinations and found that hashtags using 'Cotswolds' and other related hashtags have been used on Instagram 2.8 million times.
The company said there's lots going for the Cotswolds, flagging up Bibury's 'idyllic stone cottages' as well as Snowshill's lavender fields and the rolling green hills of the countryside, describing the area as: 'A dreamscape for travel influencers and wedding photographers alike.'
The Cotswolds countryside was beaten to the top spot by Cornwall and the Lake District, which received 4.6 million and 10.8 million hashtags on Instagram.
Other places in the top 10 include Stonehenge in nearby Wiltshire and the Jurassic Coast in Dorset.
Reflecting on the top five, Choose Leisure added: 'With more travellers than ever choosing UK breaks, this ranking highlights the destinations that not only inspire wanderlust but also dominate our feeds.
'Whether you're heading for a coastal road trip or a countryside escape, these five scenic spots are top of the grid.'
Managing director of Choose Leisure, Dave Williams, shares why places like the Cotswolds are the perfect place to go.
He said: 'Lakesides, coastal lookouts and quiet countryside spots often provide not only incredible views but a real sense of escape.
'Whether you're sipping coffee with a sunrise or stepping straight into nature, the right location can turn an ordinary stopover into something truly memorable.'
