Home to one of the tallest climbing centres in the UK, 270 Climbing Park is inviting climbers of all ages and abilities to join its climbing community for the park's first festival, which kicks off Friday 29 August, and features competitions, fun challenges and interactive workshops.

The festival promises something for all abilities, with events like a bouldering challenge for juniors, adults and disabled climbers.
More experienced climbers will have the opportunity to win a share of £500 on the 'Money Climb' or try out the High Ropes Speed Challenge, hosted by UK Ninja Warrior Champion, Tommy Matthews.
The speed climbing event will also include appearances from Olympians and members of Team GB.
Disabled climbers are also encouraged to come along and participate in the para-climbing social, which promises a way for them to try out the sport in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Director of 270 Climbing Park, David Stevens, said: 'It's a chance to bring the climbing community together, showcase some amazing talent and also open the doors for people who might be new to the sport.
'We want this weekend to be a real celebration of climbing and everything that makes it such an inclusive and inspiring activity.'
The festival will also offer more than just climbing, with over 20 workshops and talks on everything from yoga to nutrition and a practical session and Q&A with accomplished climber, Neil Gresham; as well as food trucks, live music and stalls from other climbing organisations and brands such as Climbers Against Cancer and Beekind.
