National Express is encouraging customers to book early to secure their free child places and guarantee a seat following the launch of its summer offer.

Whether you're off on your holidays or are planning a family day out, Gloucestershire families can save money on coach travel this summer with a new offer from National Express.

Up to three children aged 15 and under are able to travel for free on National Express coaches with a fee-paying adult, to hundreds of locations across the UK – including to and from Gloucestershire – until the end of September 2025.

As the UK’s biggest scheduled coach operator, National Express says its services provide an 'affordable and stress-free' way to travel for families, with conveniences including leather reclining seats; free child booster seats so little ones can enjoy the view; free Wi-Fi and USB power sockets; and plenty of luggage space.

Gloucestershire families can catch National Express services from a host of stops in the county, including Gloucester, Cheltenham and Cirencester, to visit a number of UK cities like London and Birmingham, as well as seaside towns across Cornwall, Devon and south Wales.

The offer launches on Tuesday 1 July and runs until Tuesday 30 September 2025, with passengers needing to use the code KIDSFREE when booking in advance via the National Express website.
