Gloucester stage school reopens with children’s classes in dance, singing and drama

Now enrolling for its summer 2021 term, Stagecoach Gloucester is back, offering performing arts classes in dance, singing and drama to local youngsters aged four to 18.

Young thespians in Gloucester have the chance to shine as performing arts school, Stagecoach Gloucester, reopens for the summer 2021 term.

New principal, Kate Ridley-Holloway, is relaunching the school for summer 2021, offering weekend classes for four to 18-year-olds at Ribston Hall High School from Saturday 24 April to Sunday 18 July 2021.

Taught by a professional team of performing arts experts, Stagecoach Gloucester offers classes in singing, dancing and acting – not only teaching children and young adults how to perform on stage, but developing important life skills, too.

From fun-loving kids who want to learn a new talent to those who dream of seeing their name in lights, budding performers of all abilities are welcome to come along and join in.

Teamwork is at the heart of Stagecoach’s classes, with a community of enthusiastic pupils and passionate teaching staff that encourage students to express themselves, be creative and build self-confidence in a safe and supportive space.

There are also opportunities to perform on stage, from taking part in local events to participating in performances organised by Stagecoach.

Plus, those who want to advance their performing arts education can take exams in acting and musical theatre singing, with one-to-one coaching sessions to help them prepare.

Early Stages classes are aimed at children aged four to six, taking place for 90 minutes on Saturdays from 9.30am and Sundays from 9.15am. Meanwhile, Main Stages sessions split students aged six to 18 into separate, age-appropriate groups, for three hours of performing arts education every Saturday and Sunday at 10am.

Stagecoach Gloucester is also offering a two-week trial to give Gloucester’s budding stars a taste of its dance, drama and singing classes before registering for the full summer 2021 term.
