Opened in 1825, Pittville Park is the largest ornamental park in Cheltenham and boasts plenty of green open space, lakes, aviaries and a children’s play area, as well as the magnificent Pittville Pump Room.

There’s also tennis courts, a skateboarding ramp and the facilities for fishing, golf and seasonal boating – making this a firm family favourite in Gloucestershire as a day out destination.

Visit the park on a weekend and you’ll find scores of Gloucestershire residents and visitors enjoying the great outdoors, complete with the obligatory Frisbees, footballs and four legged friends, and in the summer it’s an absolute must for escaping the hustle and bustle of the town for a spot of relaxation.
