Stagecoach West has shortlisted 30 names for its Name That Bus initiative, and Gloucestershire residents can now vote for their favourite.
The shortlist, which was whittled down from hundreds of suggestions, includes fun names such as ‘Bus McBuserton’, ‘Cotswold Crusader’ and ‘Busby’. Names of local celebrities have also made the cut, such as, ‘Nicky Price’, ‘Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards’ and ‘Tom Price’.
The 14 names with the highest votes will appear on the new buses over the next few months.
Managing director at Stagecoach West, Rupert Cox, said ‘We are excited to see which 14 names are voted as the favourites and look forward to spotting them on each of the buses around town.’
