A firm favourite for local families, Slimbridge Wetland Centre is set to see the return of its popular Giant LEGO Brick Animals this summer, in an exciting trail – the only one of its kind in the UK.
Taking place from Saturday 7 July to Sunday 23 September 2018, visitors can see 14 amazing LEGO creations on show alongside their living counterparts, with the 1.5-metre animals said to be inspired by real species at Slimbridge.
Returning favourites include a Hawaiian goose, a North American river otter, a giant kingfisher, frog, and flamingo. Meanwhile new for this year, there’s the chance to see Sam the short-eared owl, Walter the water vole, and Skye the stork.
Offering an innovative way to inspire little and big kids alike to build a better future for nature, don’t miss your chance to get up close and personal with some giant animals.
