New Year's Eve at The Alchemist in Cheltenham

The Alchemist in Cheltenham is giving revellers the chance to start New Year's Eve as they mean to go on, with its Alchemy Cocktail Brunch being served from 10am to 4pm, pairing three of its most popular cocktails with a brunch dish each for £30 — with the option to go bottomless for another £10.

Then for the main event, its Midnight Drop offers a special New Year's Eve set menu, including Cosmic Oyster shots and nibbles on arrival, followed by a three-course meal and a glass of Champagne to toast at midnight, with tunes from the resident DJ to get the party in full swing. The Midnight Drop costs £50 per person. 

New Year's Eve at The Ivy Montpellier Brasserie

Upmarket Montpellier brasserie, The Ivy, is hosting a stylish New Year's Eve soiree to see in 2024. Its Ivy Royale set menu costs £75 per person and includes a welcome glass of Champagne and a delectable meal.

The choice of starters includes roasted scallops with creamy truffle orzo or stilton and walnut souffle; with mains like Keralan duck curry, baked sea bass with mussels or fillet of beef; with Christmas creme brulee, chocolate bombe or a selection of cheeses to finish off — with charming hosts and entertainment throughout the evening, too. 

New Year's Eve at Téatro in Cirencester

Cirencester's stylish Téatro Bar and Restaurant is offering a six-course tasting menu this New Year's Eve 2024, with diners treated to a feast made with the finest produce the Cotswolds has to offer.

Tickets cost £85 per person, or £115 to include a wine flight matched to each course — plus there's live music from Steve Reid-Williams throughout the night.

New Year Getaway at Tewkesbury Park

The luxurious Tewkesbury Park is making New Year's Eve celebrations last that little bit longer with its two-night New Year Getaway. Arrive to its famous afternoon tea on Saturday before enjoying a three-course dinner in the evening; wake to up a leisurely breakfast on Sunday, spend the day exploring its gorgeous grounds in the crisp countryside air before getting all glammed up for its Great Gatsby-themed main event.

The evening consists of Champagne, canapes, a six-course dinner, midnight fireworks and a live band; then guests can enjoy a relaxed start to the New Year with breakfast and chance to lounge by the fire before heading home on New Year's Day — with prices starting from £285 for two sharing a room. 

New Year's Eve at BrewDog in Cheltenham

Craft beer bar, BrewDog, is inviting guests to party like it's 1999, turning back the clock and putting its prices back to pre-Millennium levels on the countdown to the New Year, with special prices applying from 7pm. 

There'll be a live DJ spinning nostalgic 90s tunes, with beers for £1.95, cocktails for £3.95 and late night bacon butties, too — with tickets costing £15 each. 

New Year's Eve at Côte in Gloucester

French brasserie, Côte at Gloucester Quays, is saying 'bonne année!' this December 2023 with a special New Year's Eve menu. Diners are welcomed with a glass of  Crémant sparkling wine and nibbles on the table, before digging into starters like baked camembert, prawn thermidor or braised beef French onion soup; main courses like mushroom bourgignon, confit pork belly, sirloin steak or butternut squash pithivier; with dessert options including creme caramel, pain perdu, white chocolate mousse or pear and almond financier to finish.

Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian diners are catered for — with four courses and a welcome drink costing £47.95 per person. 

New Year's Eve at Flight Club in Cheltenham

Step up to the oche this New Year's Eve as Flight Club at Cheltenham's Brewery Quarter hosts its New Year's Eve brunch social. 

With three sessions on the day, all featuring a DJ spinning tunes, prosecco, bottomless pizza and an hour-long social darts sampler, it's a super fun — and different — way to celebrate the start of the New Year. 

The Big NYE Brewery Bash at Stroud Brewery

Big New Year's Eve Bash at The Botanist in Cheltenham

The Botanist in Cheltenham's Big New Year's Eve Bash offers live music, a welcome St Germain Spritz cocktail on arrival, plus a glass of fizz when the glitter cannons explode at midnight to see in the New Year, all for just £15 per person.

Its festive menu is also available all day and into the evening, with dishes like butternut squash soup with crispy sage; sweet potato and goat's cheese tart; hanging turkey kebab; grilled sea bass; cookie dough pie; and sticky toffee pudding to tuck into. 

New Year's Eve at Cowley Manor in the Cotswolds

Ring in the New Year in the lap of luxury at Cowley Manor, with a two-night staycation. Its New Year package includes a four-course New Year's Eve dinner with dishes like duck and foie gras; roasted scallop with celeraic and caviar; roasted fillet and braised shin of beef with Madeira sauce; milk chocolate and caramel cremeaux; and Tunworth cheese and crackers with truffle honey — not to mention Champagne at midnight.
