Gloucestershire families are displaying Easter egg artwork in their windows

Gloucestershire families are hanging Easter egg artwork in their windows for children to spot on their daily walks during the Coronavirus lockdown.

Families across Gloucestershire are displaying hand-drawn Easter eggs in their windows in the run up to Easter weekend, taking place from Friday 10 to Monday 13 April 2020.

With so many Gloucestershire families displaying rainbows in their windows during the Coronavirus lockdown, this new movement is another way for locals to spread joy and positivity – and keep the kids’ creative juices flowing while school is out!

As well as creating their own egg-cellent masterpieces, little ones can take part in a social distancing egg hunt, spotting bright and beautiful artwork on their daily neighbourhood walks to get in the spirit before the Easter bunny arrives.

As part of SoGlos’s #InThisTogetherGlos campaign, to spread good news and positivity at this challenging time, we will share some of the fun, joyful photos taken by readers in Gloucestershire on our Coronavirus lockdown diary.
