In light of schools closing due to the Coronavirus crisis, families are following in the footsteps of Italian schoolchildren, who are drawing and displaying rainbows in their windows, as a sign of solidarity in uncertain times.

Now springing up in homes across Gloucestershire, these bright drawings hope to bring a little positivity, and a smile or two, to local passers-by.

With the trend spreading on social media, families are hoping to keep spirits high as the usual school routines have been disrupted and children are advised to stay indoors.
