The University of Gloucestershire is throwing open the gates to its stunning Park Campus for its first-ever Family Fun Day on Sunday 26 July 2026, giving families the chance to enjoy a free day packed with entertainment.
Completely free to attend, the community event promises something for all ages, transforming the university's picturesque Park Campus into a hub of entertainment with live music, children's activities, food and drink and plenty of opportunities to walk around the lake and explore the grounds.

Running from 10am until 3pm, the Family Fun Day will feature everything from a bouncy castle and obstacle course to a scavenger hunt and traditional children's games.
Visitors can also browse an art exhibition, enjoy live music and choose from a selection of food and drink, making it an easy choice for families looking to enjoy a summer Sunday together.
With both admission and parking free, the event offers an accessible day out for local families while giving visitors the chance to experience the picturesque and peaceful campus in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Plus, well behaved dogs on leads are welcome too!
Explore Park Campus and its striking new sculpture
Alongside the entertainment, visitors can discover Tommy, the university's newly installed sculpture by internationally renowned artist Sir Tony Cragg CBE, adding an extra cultural highlight to the day's programme.
