Bram Stoker's Dracula has been terrifying audiences since his novel was first published in 1897 – and 129 years later, its gothic horror returns to the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham, this November 2026.
Tickets are on sale now for this haunting new production from Blackeyed Theatre that blends Victorian gothic with the contemporary.
What to expect from Dracula at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham
Audiences should brace themselves for an exhilarating theatrical experience featuring powerful performances and a haunting soundscape intensifying the drama.
The story is set in 1897 at a pivotal time when society was on the cusp of change. Poised between traditional beliefs, the threat of the unknown and the shock of the new world, an altogether darker fear starts to emerge.
As a new shadow looms large over England, a small group of young men and women, led by Professor Van Helsing, are plunged into an epic struggle for survival to stop the unknown outside becoming the enemy within.
The chilling on-stage action travels from London through provincial England to the mountainous wastes of Transylvania.
Its dark subject matter has prompted the theatre to warn that this production is not suitable for under 12s.
