Experience the incredible Berkeley Castle with a private tour, hosted by Charles Berkeley – all rounded off with a delicious afternoon tea.

Discover one of Gloucestershire’s most incredible cultural sites in a very special way, winning a private tour of Berkeley Castle with its owner, Charles Berkeley – along with a sumptuous afternoon tea.

Marking the historic attraction’s grand reopening for this year’s season on Sunday 3 April 2022, SoGlos has teamed up with Berkeley Castle to treat one lucky reader and three guests to this royally wonderful day out.

A magnificent way to experience Berkeley Castle, the intimate tour will be hosted by Charles, who grew up in the castle himself – putting a unique, personal spin on its fascinating history as he shows you around.

Guests can expect to take a deep dive into the Berkeley family’s history, which spans some 900 years, as Charles brings his ancestral home to life with stories about the building, his relatives and the history that played out within the ancient walls.

What’s more, the lucky winner and three companions will also be treated to afternoon tea, with a decadent spread of sandwiches, mini cakes and scones to tuck in to.
