New Brewery Arts in Cirencester offers the opportunity to watch artists and craftspeople at work, enjoy arts and crafts exhibitions, and even learn skills yourself thanks to dedicated classes and workshops.

The creative hub in the heart of Cirencester is home to two galleries which showcase an impressive range of work by artists, makers, craftsmen and designers. Free exhibitions take place in both the Main and Pop-Up Galleries.

Visitors can learn more about local designers by visiting the Makers’ Studios, where there’s the chance to meet the talented people behind the work, buy beautifully crafted pieces directly from independent artists or commission bespoke work.

The centre’s craft shop is the ideal spot to pick up hand-crafted gifts for the home, unusual jewellery or unique art, while the on-site café is perfect for morning coffees, light lunches and afternoon tea.

The specialist education studios at New Brewery Arts provide space for a diverse calendar of workshops and courses with the choice of subjects spanning millinery, creative writing, ceramics, stained glass, printmaking, watercolour painting, and much more.

New Brewery Arts offers dedicated courses for kids aged five to 16 years, along with a regular Saturday club, creative after school sessions, weekend and holiday activities, while it also provides space to hire for children’s birthday parties.

The arts centre also benefits from on-site accommodation, with the 14 rooms in The Barrel Store offering a simple yet stylish place to stay in the heart of the Cotswolds.
