Two Coronation Street stars are being reunited on stage this April 2026, for a new production of the acclaimed Double Double at the Barn Theatre in Cirencester.
What to expect from Double Double at Barn Theatre Cirencester?
Starring Daniel Brocklebank as Duncan and National Television Award-winner Faye Brookes as Phillipa, Double Double – written by Olivier and Tony Award-winner Roger Rees and Jersey Boys co-writer Rick Elice – has been described as My Fair Lady meets Dial M for Murder.
When Phillipa's well-to-do husband Richard dies just weeks before he's set to inherit a fortune, she attempts to pull off an epic con to get her hands on the money.
She discovers a homeless man, Duncan, bears an uncanny resemblance to her dead husband – and if she can get this shabby chap to pass for her dearly departed, both of them could walk away with a share of the money.
An intense, psychological game of wits, the two jostle throughout to get the upper hand – and with an epic twist that absolutely nobody could expect, Double Double promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats until the very last line.
When is Double Double at Barn Theatre Cirencester?
