Back on tour for 2023, the ever-popular Giffords Circus takes its 'most lavish show yet' out on the road this April 2023.
Inspired by mid-19th century romanticism, Les Enfants du Paradis promises a playful story, intriguing acts, beautiful costumes and spectacular sets that are sure to win the hearts of audiences all over the county.
Directed by Cal McCrystal and starring Gloucestershire's favourite entertainer, Tweedy the Clown, alongside actor and singer Michael Fletcher, the show boasts an impressive cast of performers, including aerialist and France's Got Talent star, Antony Cesar; illusionist and shadow artist, Sergi Buka; high-speed roller skating act, The Skating Medini; Amanda Sandow and her pony; aerialists and foot jugglers, Romy and Alex Michael; aerial hoop duo, The Luna Girls; and acrobats The Ethio-selam Troupe, performing the double Chinese pole.
It's also bringing back dancing in the ring at the end of the show for the first time since 2019, much to the delight of long-time fans.
Kicking off at Giffords Circus HQ on Fennells Farm in Stroud from Thursday 3 to Monday 17 April, the show then goes on the road, visiting Frampton Court, Daylesford, Sudeley Castle, Minchinhampton Common and Stratton Meadows, before heading home to Fennells Farm for a final run of shows from Thursday 21 September to Sunday 1 October 2023.
Giffords' famous travelling restaurant, Circus Sauce, also makes a welcome return for 2023, with dinner prices costing from £50 per adult and £30 per child.
