Tweedy’s back for more mischief as Everyman Theatre reveals its Cinderella lineup

Glass slippers, outrageous sisters and a new leading lady – Cinderella comes to Cheltenham’s Everyman Theatre for its 2026 Christmas pantomime, with pop songs, elaborate costumes, family fun and, of course, Tweedy – from November 2026 into January 2027.

Olivia Bella stars as Cinderella alongside Tweedy as Buttons in the Everyman Theatre’s 2026 Christmas pantomime in Cheltenham.

Tweedy is back as Buttons and familiar faces are stepping into the Ugly Sisters’ shoes, as the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham reveals the cast and creative team behind its 2026 pantomime Cinderella.

Running from Friday 27 November 2026 to Sunday 10 January 2027, the production brings the much-loved fairy tale to the theatre’s ornate auditorium, with perky pop songs, beautifully designed costumes and plenty of opportunities for Gloucestershire’s resident mischief-maker to derail proceedings.

Joining Tweedy are returning favourites Kevin Brewis and Miles Western as the Ugly Sisters, while Dominic Treacy takes on the role of Prince Charming’s right-hand man, Dandini.

Fresh from a starring role in Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical, Olivia Bella plays Cinderella, with Josh Crowther as Prince Charming and an ensemble featuring West End dancers completing the cast.

Tweedy said: ‘I can’t wait to get back on stage for more shenanigans at The Everyman’s panto this year, playing the role of Buttons. Everyone knows the classic story of Cinderella, but we’ll give it our signature twist with catchy tunes, silliness and lots of festive fun!’

Behind the scenes, Sam Holmes and Nick Winston return to write and direct, continuing a partnership that has shaped the Everyman’s pantomimes since 2019.

They’re joined by returning sound designer Ben Harrison, set and lighting designer Andrew Exeter and costume designer Stewart J. Charlesworth – whose work has previously earned UK Pantomime Awards nominations.

Mark Goucher, chief executive of the Everyman Theatre, said: ‘This year’s show will be spectacular. It’s a great show for everyone and the whole creative team are already working hard to give you a magical night or afternoon in the theatre.’

Tickets are on sale now starting from £13.75, with audio-described, captioned, BSL-interpreted and relaxed performances also available.
