A Gloucestershire business leader has been named CEO of the Year in the MD of the Year Awards 2026.
Spencer McPherson is the founder and chief creative officer of Bishop's Cleeve-based StillMoving, which has won no less than seven awards in the last six months – including being named Best Creative Production House 2026 (SW).
Specialising in creative production for film, photography and digital content, the company has produced content for big global brands including Lotus, Porsche, Remington, SMEG and Vax, along with Gloucestershire-based businesses including Superdry, Cheltenham Festivals, Ontic, Spirax, Giffords Circus and St. James's Place.
StillMoving is also the official video partner for the Gloucestershire Lifestyle & Community Awards and the Gloucestershire Business Awards.
An accomplished portrait photographer – having captured shots of Sir David Attenborough, Hillary Clinton, Dame Judi Dench, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Vivienne Westwood, Joanna Lumley and Bono to name just a few – as well as a highly-respected local business leader, Spencer can now add CEO of the Year to his growing list of accolades.
Announcing both wins on LinkedIn, Spencer said: 'This is amazing! I am so thrilled that we have received recognition for the work that we do and the trust that our clients have in us.
'It's tough out there, lots of people are struggling, but if you keep pushing, if you keep fighting and you strive when the odds are against you, you'll succeed.
'It's easy to give up, it's really hard to keep going... but like Winston Churchill said, if you are going through hell, keep going!
'Huge respect to everyone who supported us in the process, and for the team that work so hard.'
