Lovers of all things film, TV and gaming can indulge in a 'geeky extravaganza' right here in the county this May 2025, with plenty to see and do at the return of Gloucester Comic-Con.
On Saturday 10 May 2025, GL1 Leisure Centre will be packed with nostalgia-inducing displays to explore, from movie props and cars to stalls, retro gaming and more – all for just over £10 for an adult ticket.
This year's event is headlined by two well-known stars of the small screen: the Dr Who companion with the most episodes to his name, Frazer Hines; and the star of iconic noughties CBBC series The Story of Tracy Beaker, Dani Harmer.
Fans will have a chance to meet the famous guests and will also get the opportunity to take photos with them, for an additional fee.
Other photo opportunities include the iron throne from Game of Thrones; a life-size Lightning McQueen from Cars; and the iconic car from The Flintstones.
There will also be an array of cosplayers on arrival, with fans being invited to dress up as their favourite TV, film or other fictional character to compete in cosplay competitions, too.
Traders on the day will be selling a range of wares from comics to collectables, while there'll also be a LEGO brick play zone, potion making sessions, comic books artists, interactive games and a whole lot more to enjoy.
Tickets start at £6.23 for children and £10.41 for adults, with early bird options and a family ticket also available.
