Eight of the county's most exciting young artists are taking over The Sub Rooms stage this February 2026 for Upsurge: An evening with...

Showcasing up-and-coming artists on The Music Works talent development programme, the evening will see eight artists take to the stage – with performances from Chaka, Crispin, Jodie O, Merce Jade, MMOL, Real Triggz, SollÉ and TRINITY.

Providing an opportunity to see an act before they make it big, the event gives audiences a chance to show their support for Gloucestershire's thriving grassroots music scene and let the next generation of musical talent know that there's a supportive and encouraging audience right here on their doorstep.

With music spanning hip hop and R'n'B to jazz, alternative pop and indie, it promises to be an unmissable night for music lovers, where you might just discover your new favourite artist.

Tickets cost £12 each and are available from thesubrooms.co.uk/whats-on/upsurge-an-evening-with and from The Sub Rooms box office.
