Sudeley Castle and Gardens in the Cotswolds is hosting family fun in the great outdoors this May half term.
On Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 May, Dig & Delve returns to Sudeley for wildlife-themed crafts and storytelling sessions inspired by nature.
Its popular Twig & Tale adventure sessions take place at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2pm, with nature-inspired activities including crafting using simple tools like a hand drill; singing songs; nature storytelling; and toasting marshmallows over a fire.
Children can also have a go at making squirrels, spiders, swifts and sheep from foraged natural materials between 10.15am and 3.15pm on the Falcon Lawn, too.
Dig & Delve activities are included with the price of admission, but Twig & Tale adventure sessions require parental supervision and are limited to 15 children per session, so it's advisable to arrive early – with activities taking place on the Falcon Lawn next to the adventure play fort and assault course.

There's also free face painting on Tuesday 27 and Friday 30 May 2025, bringing fun festival vibes to the historic family attraction.
Little ones can embrace their imaginations, choosing to transform into a beautiful butterfly to explore the glorious gardens; become a knight before they ride into battle; or spend a day as a mythical creature at this fairytale castle.
Face painting doesn't require pre-booking, just head to the lawns in front of the Queen's Garden between 11am and 3.30pm.
