Go barking mad at Cheltenham’s outdoor swimming pool when Sandford Parks Lido hosts its annual Dog Swim from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 October 2023.
An event not to be missed by dog lovers, Gloucestershire's four-legged friends have the chance to practice their doggy paddle in the lido, just before it closes for the season.
Owners are allowed to get into the pool, too, for some fun bonding time or to aid their dogs if they're less confident in the water. Just note that the pool won't be heated, so it's unsuitable for young children to swim — and it might be wise to bring a wet suit!
This year’s Dog Swim will again be a pre-purchased ticketed event, with doggy owners able to register online via the lido's website for a specific time slot. Spectator-only tickets are available as well.
