The first phase of the new Renters' Rights Act 2025 comes into effect on Friday 1 May 2026 – and Willans LLP solicitors is hosting a free expert seminar to help landlords get ready.

Taking place at DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham-Cotswolds on Wednesday 18 March 2026, attendees will be able to hear expert insights from property dispute lawyers on the 'substantially revised legal framework' the act presents and get 'clear, timely and commercially aware guidance' on navigating the changes with confidence.

What topics will be covered during the Renters' Rights Act seminar?

Topics being covered at the seminar include the key changes in the act; a timeline of which provisions take effect first and how to prepare; what the introduction of rolling tenancies means for existing agreements; and how landlords can lawfully regain possession of their properties after the abolition of Section 21 'no-fault' evictions. 

There will also be a Q&A session where the panel will answer questions submitted during registration.
