Cotswolds hospitality hotspot, The Frogmill, has won the title of Gloucestershire Pub of the Year 2022 at the National Pub and Bar Awards.

Situated in the Cotswolds hamlet of Shipton Oliffe, The Frogmill celebrated a win at this year’s National Pub and Bar Awards on Wednesday 13 April 2022, being named Gloucestershire Pub of the Year 2022.

The Frogmill features relaxing terraces to drink and dine, edged by landscaped grounds, with views over the countryside; as well as 28 ensuite bedrooms as part of its boutique hotel.

The 16th century inn, owned by Brakspear, was one of 94 pubs awarded a County Winner title across the UK, with more than 500 British pubs entering across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Each establishment was subject to intensive judging covering overall best practice across categories including interior design, outside space, customer service, menus and drinks lists.

The Frogmill’s general manager, Simon Stanbrook, said: ‘We are so excited to be named the best pub in Gloucestershire by the National Pub and Bar Awards.

‘We’ve worked hard to make The Frogmill a wonderful destination pub and wedding venue as well as a welcoming local at the heart of the community.’
