The independent craft brewery replacing BrewDog at The Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham has revealed its opening date, and there's not long left to wait.
Revealing its move to the leisure destination back in June, Siren Craft Brew has now announced that its first venue outside of its home county of Berkshire will officially open to the public at 4pm on Monday 28 September 2026.
Bringing an impressive new food and drink offering to the refurbished venue, its beer range is rooted in the themes of Greek mythology – and the new bar will have more than 30 lines of the award-winning brewery's beers and cask ales along with wines, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks, to be enjoyed alongside 'seriously good' food.
To celebrate its opening, its offering the first 1,000 pints of its gluten-free session IPA, Lumina, for free during the first week – between 4pm and 5pm until Sunday 4 October 2026.
Siren launched a Crowdfunder in August to support the bar's refurbishment, offering a range of rewards including a 150 per cent return on investment which can be used at the bar, or online at the Siren webshop. It's also hosting a pre-launch Party – invitations for which are still available through the Crowdfunder, which also includes getting your name on its 'Supporters Wall', and early access to the booking system.
The brewery says the venue now features a 'reimagined' layout, offering a social space for casual drinks, quieter conversations and private bookings, for beer drinkers and non-beer drinkers alike.
General manager Regina Aponte said: 'I’m excited to finally open the doors and be part of the Siren family, showcasing our delicious and vast range of beers.
'It’s been a real journey getting here, building a team and shaping the vibe we want people to feel the moment they walk in. With the help of my wonderful AGM, Jenny, we’ve managed to pull together a stellar team.
'Our aim is for Siren Cheltenham to be known for its top‑notch hospitality, amazing food, and the best beer lineup in Cheltenham. We want every guest to feel welcomed and to leave with a smile on their face, content and maybe with a few cans in their pockets!'
