Chic new restaurant Mirari in Cheltenham eagerly awaits its first festive guests to sample its debut Christmas menus.
Despite its location within the opulent surroundings of Club Ocho, private members’ club for the Cotswolds on Cheltenham’s Imperial Square, Mirari is open to members and non-members alike.
From festive lunches and dinners to drinks receptions, full family or company celebrations, cocktails that turn into an evening, or an entire space to themselves, Mirari offers flexible dining options to suit, with diners invited to feast on generous dishes made for the whole table inspired by northern Spain and the Basque country.
Mirari has two Christmas menus: Festive Feasting priced at £40 for two courses or £50 for three courses, and Festive A La Carte priced at £30 for two courses or £40 for three courses.

The Festive Feasting menu begins with sharing dishes such as Gordal olives, smoked almonds, Padron peppers, pan con tomate and sourdough, before small plates including croquetas de jamon, pigs in blankets with PX glaze, chicken liver parfait, gambas al pil pil and chorizo with Rioja glaze.
From the grill, choose from dishes including roast sirloin of British beef, roast turbot, cider-glazed pork belly or a vegetarian Wellington, accompanied by a table full of festive sides.
Finish with burnt Basque cheesecake, Christmas pudding, or churros with dark chocolate, orange and cinnamon.

While Mirari’s Festive A La Carte menu starts with chicken liver parfait, beef tartare and gambas al pil pil with toasted sourdough.
Main courses include fillet steak with parsnip puree, carrots with chorizo butter and red wine jus; roast turbot with braised leeks, Txistorra haricot beans and a vermouth velouté; and flat-iron chicken with hispi cabbage, romesco butter, pigs in blankets and a sherry jus, plus festive sides.
Desserts include burnt Basque cheesecake with mincemeat caramel and brandy cream, Christmas pudding with PX caramel and vanilla custard, and churros with dark chocolate, orange and cinnamon.
Not every Christmas celebration needs a sit-down dinner – guests can also take over Mirari's bar for drinks, canapés and conversation, or book private experiences such as cocktail masterclasses and wine or spirit tastings, too.
