Running from Sunday 29 March until Thursday 2 April 2026, SoGlos rounds up some of the biggest benefits for pupils.

Reduce stress and build confidence

Dean Close School's Easter Revision Course offers a choice of four subjects at GCSE level or two at A Level, to help students reduce stress and build confidence ahead of their exams.

As well as help with specific subjects, the course also instils core study skills to support revision, from how to organise study time, to reading texts with clear understanding and making effective notes.

Receive tuition from highly qualified and experienced tutors

With a team of highly qualified course tutors, including Dean Close teachers and specialist tutors from other schools and colleges across the UK, the Easter Revision Course provides pupils with expert tuition in their chosen subjects.

Many tutors have been teaching the course for years and have built a fantastic reputation for helping pupils achieve great results.

Benefit from small class sizes

With small class sizes, every pupil on the Easter Revision Course benefits from quality time with teachers.

Whether that's one-to-one time mastering a specific challenge or simply having someone around to help calm those nerves and provide reassurance.

Learn how to formulate great exam answers

Participants on the Easter Revision Course will also benefit from focused help on how to formulate a great exam answer.

From understanding the focus of the question, using stimulus material effectively, writing clear arguments to organising their time, pupils can go into the examination room feeling fully prepared.

Choose from residential or non-residential options

Dean Close School offers both residential and non-residential options for its Easter Revision Course.

Both options include 30 hours of tuition per week, with the residential option including overnight accommodation, breakfast, snacks, lunch, supper and use of Dean Close's fantastic recreational facilities, including swimming pool; while non-residential places include snacks, lunch and use of some of the facilities.

Specialist teaching tailored for international students

Dean Close also offers an International Student Extended Programme – a two-week course following the Easter Revision Course until Saturday 18 April 2026, with specially tailored teaching for international GCSE or A Level students already studying in the UK.

As well as focused academic guidance, the extended programme also provides specialist support in English as an additional language; supervised independent revision; cultural excursions; sports, wellbeing and social activities; and international food evenings, to provide a nurturing environment away from home, as well as cultural engagement, to aid academic success and personal development.

Easter revision courses at Dean Close School cost £1,350 per week for residential, £975 per week for non-residential and £1,100 per week for the International Extended Programme.

Parents have the option to split the course payments into monthly instalments with a payment plan.
