See celebrity chefs cooking live

The main attraction at Gloucester Quays Food Festival is the Cookery Theatre on Mariners Square, where visitors can see celebrity chefs sharing their secrets during live cooking demonstrations.

Hosted by popular presenter Chris Bavin, this year's celebrity chefs are Saturday Kitchen host Matt Tebbutt, chef and presenter Cyrus Todiwala, This Morning presenter Phil Vickery and MasterChef runner-up and TikTok star Dean Edwards.

Get up close to Great British Bake Off stars

Great British Bake Off 2025 winner Georgie Grasso and fan favourite Christiaan De Vries are both making appearances at Gloucester Quays Food Festival this year.

The show's first Welsh winner Georgie, who took home the trophy thanks to her classic flavour combinations and technical prowess, is cooking live on Saturday; while Christiaan – who won viewers' hearts with his bold flavour choices and ambitious designs – takes to the stage on Sunday.

Browse 160 market stalls

Gloucester Quays Food Festival brings the south west's very best market traders, artisans and crafters to the event – with 160 stalls due to descend on the docks this July 2025.

From small-batch spirits and gourmet cheeses, freshly baked bread and cakes, to handcrafted gifts, visitors can fill their baskets with tasty treats to take home – as well as tucking into the south west's best street food or sipping on a drink or two from the pop-up bar while you browse.

Listen to live music

Providing a perfect spot to tuck into street food and soak up some summer sounds, there's a live music stage on Orchard Square, just outside Gloucester Quays, throughout the food festival.

Showcasing a host of talented local bands and artists, previous acts have included Stroud-based singer-songwriter and BBC 6 Music favourite George Montague and Cheltenham party covers band The Bridge.

Save up to 70 per cent at Gloucester Quays

When you've had your foodie fill, take a stroll around the shops at Gloucester Quays and enjoy up to 70 per cent off retail prices on everything from fashion to homewares.

Don't miss popping into Denby, Le Creuset and Pro Cook if all the cooking demos get you feeling inspired to fire up the stove at home!
