An exclusive collection of luxury coworking spaces launch in Gloucestershire

No more noisy cafes, parking stress or hidden meeting room fees — a new coworking venture has landed in Gloucestershire, with each Coworking & Country venue designed to help you focus and unleash your creativity.

Gloucestershire welcomes a new boutique coworking concept, founded by Prestbury entrepreneur Chris Woodley.

With years spent working in tech, navigating every kind of remote and hybrid setup himself and failing to find somewhere that ticked all the boxes — a space more inspiring than his home set-up, with people around, no hidden costs for parking, Zoom calls, or meeting rooms — Chris created Cowork & Country, a membership-based network of refined workspaces inside boutique hotels across the Cotswolds.

Offering calm, hospitality-led workspaces for founders, consultants and independent professionals in the county, the business invites workers to focus and thrive at luxury venues currently spanning No. 38 The Park, Cowley Manor, Malmaison, Ellenborough Park and The Greenway Hotel and Spa, in Cheltenham.

Chris said: 'I wanted to design places where you can get your best work done and then go home and be 100 per cent present, physically and mentally with your family. No hidden fees, no corporate feel, just spaces worth leaving home for.'

With memberships starting from £30, each workspace is ready the moment you step through the door, with every desk including wireless charging pads, noise cancelling headsets, HDMI and USB-C hubs and a secure high-speed connection. Concierge tech support is also on hand to support you if you run into any issues.

Plus, if you need deeper help — from lost files to problems with Mailchimp — you can book a 'Power Hour' with the tech support team.

Saving you time on the clock, order barista-made coffee, fresh pastries and seasonal lunches directly from your desk, delivered whenever you need. And if you need a break from the screen to refuel and recalibrate, opt to dine on the outdoor terrace or in the hotel's restaurant or bar lounge.

And supporting deep focus and uninterrupted flow, you'll be working in light-filled Georgian drawing rooms, oak-panelled libraries and conservatories that open onto herb-scented terraces, instead of the sterile pods and overcrowded tables found in some coworking venues.
