Cheltenham-based Montpellier PR is being recognised by the Ministry of Defence as one of the UK's top employers for supporting the Armed Forces.
The MOD awarded the firm its Gold Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Award this August 2025 – the highest accolade available.
The ERS recognises employers which go above and beyond their Armed Forces Covenant pledges through 'measurable action, advocacy and long-term support' – and encourages recruitment from the skilled talent pool of service leavers resettling into civilian careers.
Montpellier PR, which specialises in defence technology and healthcare, was founded by veteran Guy Woodcock and is one of only 1,200 organisations nationwide to receive the Gold Award, which represents the highest commitment to serving Armed Forces personnel, cadet volunteers, veterans and their families.
It says it has 'embedded Armed Forces support into its culture', from offering 14 days paid leave for reservist and cadet force volunteers, to providing mentoring and career guidance for cadets and service leavers; and advocating for defence-friendly employment practices in the wider industry.
Guy said: 'My 15 years of military service have instilled a deep commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community.
'As a veteran and business leader, I ensure that Montpellier actively engages in meaningful advocacy and support for service personnel, veterans and their families.'
