The new, highly anticipated Cotswolds Designer Outlet near Tewkesbury is opening on Wednesday 16 July 2025. Ahead of the big reveal, SoGlos got a sneak peek behind the scenes.

It's almost time for one of the biggest openings in Gloucestershire this year; after years of preparation, the county's newest shopping destination, Cotswolds Designer Outlet is finally flinging open its doors this July 2025.

SoGlos takes a stroll around the site before it officially opens to the public to get the lowdown on what shoppers can expect.

Where is Cotswolds Designer Outlet?

The new shopping centre is located just off Junction 9 of the M5. It sits next door to Dobbies Garden Centre, between Tewkesbury and Northway.

What is Cotswolds Designer Outlet like?

The site is a blend of traditional Cotswolds architecture sprinkled with contemporary features – including dedicated facilities for families and pets, as well as wellness-focused amenities.

What stores are at Cotswolds Designer Outlet?

There are more than 50 individual stores. The lineup includes Adidas, Animal, Beauty Outlet, Bedeck, Ben Sherman, BOSS, Cadbury Outlet, Caffe Nero, Chapelle, Clintons, Craghoppers, Crew Clothing, Denby, Dune, Five Guys, French Connection, Guess, Hobbs, Holland & Barrett, Jack & Jones, KNEAD Bakery, Levi’s, Lindt, M&S Outlet, Merrell, Mountain Warehouse, Pavers, Pret a Manger, ProCook, PUMA, Radley, Regatta, Reiss, Rituals, Saltrock, Samsonite, Skechers, Skopes, Sweaty Betty, Tefal, The Body Shop, The North Face, The Perfume Shop, Timberland, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour, Wagamama, Weird Fish, Yankee Candle, Zizzi and 200 Degrees.

Is there parking at Cotswolds Designer Outlet?

Yes! The site has 908 parking spaces, including accessible bays. There's also an overflow car park with 134 parking spaces – and there are EV charging stations, too.

There's dedicated space for coaches and buses and it's close to Ashchurch for Tewkesbury train station (just seven minutes' walk away).

What are the facilities for families at Cotswolds Designer Outlet?

The destination has been designed with the whole family in mind and features both indoor and outdoor play areas, accessible family changing facilities and a dedicated approach to dogs, with a wild walk meadow and even a dog stick library!

When is Cotswolds Designer Outlet opening?

The doors officially open at 10am on Wednesday 16 July 2025.

Opening hours vary from store to store. During opening week, stores will open from 10am to 8.30pm from Wednesday to Friday 18 July 2025.

On Saturday 19 July 2025, stores will open from 9am to 8.30pm. On Sunday 20 July 2025, opening hours range from 10.30am to 6pm with a variety of Sunday trading hours across the stores.

Restaurants Five Guys, Wagamama and Zizzi are open until 10pm on Sundays to Thursdays and 11pm on Friday and Saturday.

What's on during opening week at Cotswolds Designer Outlet?

During the opening week from Wednesday 16 to Sunday 20 July 2025, the mall is hosting a series of performances by well-known local entertainers.

There'll be everything from music to magic and kids crafting to spontaneous acts of kindness across the outlet, including gifting and vouchers being handed out to visiting shoppers.
