Gloucester Cathedral is hosting an inspiring new business networking event, in partnership with WSP Solicitors, this March 2026.

Providing an inspiring venue for a business event with a difference, Gloucester Cathedral is hosting its first-ever networking breakfast this March 2026.

The cathedral is teaming up with corporate partner, WSP Solicitors, to invite business leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals from across Gloucestershire to spend a morning at the Chapter House, located within the cathedral's iconic Cloister, which is currently undergoing restoration work.

The Chapter House has a history of being a meeting space, originally for the monks who lived and worshipped in the cathedral – and now for the local business community to get together in an informal and welcoming setting.

With the aim of fostering collaboration and supporting the future of Gloucester, attendees will receive a welcome from the Dean of Gloucester, the Very Reverend Andrew Zihni, followed by an update on the cathedral's 12-year conservation programme to repair and protect the famous Cloister by Anthony Feltham King – the architect of Gloucester Cathedral's Cloister Project.

Gloucester Cathedral's stonemasons will also be on hand, so visitors can learn about the traditional crafts and skills being employed to preserve the cathedral's spectacular stonework, roof and stained glass.

Dean Andrew said: 'We are delighted to be opening the doors of Gloucester Cathedral to the local business community and professionals for this first networking breakfast, in partnership with our friends at WSP Solicitors.

'This is not a traditional networking event, but an opportunity to make genuine connections in a place that has brought people together for more than 900 years.

'The Great Cloister and the Chapter House provide opportunities for reflection as well as conversation and we hope guests will leave with a deeper sense of the cathedral’s role at the heart of Gloucester’s life past, present and future.'

WSP Solicitors' managing director, Camella Cephas, added: 'We’re incredibly proud to be supporting Gloucester Cathedral’s first networking breakfast. Having worked closely with the cathedral’s team over the past couple of years, it’s an event that reflects so much of what we value as a firm, strengthening connections and encouraging greater collaboration.

'The cathedral is an iconic part of our city and an important focal point for different communities across the region. This event offers a fantastic opportunity to bring local organisations together in an informal, welcoming setting providing a brilliant platform for sharing ideas.'

Gloucester Cathedral's networking breakfast takes place from 9am until 11am on Thursday 5 March 2026.

Tickets cost £10 and are available to book now at gloucestercathedral.org.uk.
