A Gloucester electronic security firm, that specialises in security solutions from CCTV to IT cloud-based protection, is celebrating soaring business growth.
Monatrix, based in Olympus Park Business Centre in Quedgeley, has seen a staggering 35 per cent growth in the past financial year.
The firm covers business access control, IP, CCTV, intruder detection as well as cloud-based technologies.
And its design, installation, and maintenance of integrated security solutions has proved so popular it's now expanding into Europe to keep up with customer demand.
CEO of Monatrix, Paul Gillings, said: 'Our customers are the reason we’re expanding.
'Many of our longstanding clients are growing into European markets, and they’ve asked us to go with them.
'This step is about strengthening those partnerships and continuing to deliver the high-quality service they rely on — wherever they are.'
Monatrix’s expansion will first focus on clients in Ireland, Paris and Budapest. There are also plans in the pipeline to establish a broader presence across the continent.
Over the last year the company has added six new team members including boosting its engineering capacity to serve more customers across the UK.
Part of its success is down to the fact it operates across diverse sectors spanning finance, healthcare, education to defence, manufacturing and transport.

Launched in 2003, Monatrix was created with the goal of becoming the UK’s leading integrated security systems supplier, offering turnkey security solutions.
From its Gloucester headquarters, along with its nationwide installation team, the firm has installed security systems at more than 1,500 locations.
Clients include Hilton Hotels, MacDonald Hotel & Resorts, Exclusive Hotels as well as LADbible Group.
