Optimising IT marks a new chapter in its journey with its new partnership that will give it the ability to 'scale sustainably, improve continuously and stay ahead in a fast-changing tech landscape'.

Twigworth IT support services firm Optimising IT announces its merger with the Lyra Technology Group, part of the Evergreen Services Group; a world-leading collection of IT service businesses.

The Gloucestershire tech B Corp is partnering with Evergreen to fuel growth — financially and ethically — allowing it to 'scale without sacrificing what makes Optimising IT special'.

Though the partnership will introduce some changes, such as advancements in emerging technologies in AI, cybersecurity and automation, many elements of Optimising IT will remain the same, including its customer management team.

However its founder Gary Smith will step down from leadership roles and the board of non-executive directors as part of the move.

Todd Gifford will remain as managing director, tasked with focusing on long-term growth and strategy, alongside the same leadership team as current.

He said: 'As a business and as people, we are hugely motivated to do the right thing above all else, and partnering with Evergreen for the long term is the right thing for our customers and the team.

'The opportunities we have for all Optimising IT stakeholders is huge, and I am looking forward to being a part of the journey for years to come.'

The firm will also continue to operate as an independent company, under the name Optimising IT, will remain as a B Corp and remain a local business with its offices based across the south west.

Its contracts and pricing structure will stay the same, too, but its clientele will benefit from expanded and improved services with access to the global network of companies that are part of the Evergreen Group, from the US to Australia.

The Optimising IT team promises that it's 'still here, the same team you know and trust,' maintains that client satisfaction remains its 'most important benchmark' and that it's committed to continuing the 'personal, reliable support that has defined [its] work since day one.'
