Gloucestershire firm Nimble Elearning has been recognised for its commitment to making a positive impact, with B Corp certification this July 2025.
Nimble, which provides a range of support and elearning products that enable organisations to deliver online training, becomes one of only a few UK companies in the sector to achieve the status.
In becoming a B Corp, Nimble joins a community of businesses which meet 'the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability', as part of a 'global movement for an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy'.
To achieve certification, the company underwent a 'rigorous' assessment by the non-profit B Lab, which evaluated its practices across five key areas of governance, workers, community, environment and customers.
Companies are required to score a minimum of 80 to certify – which Nimble exceeded with a score of 102.
Chris Turner, executive director of B Lab UK said: 'Welcoming Nimble Elearning is an exciting moment for the elearning industry.
'B Lab UK and the rest of the B Corp community are really pleased that Nimble Elearning is paving the way for a new way of doing things.'
Launched in 2009, Nimble aims to make online learning 'simple and effective' for everyone through its products and services, empowering trainers worldwide through 'approachable' digital tools and expert care from its base in Stonehouse.
Managing director of Nimble Elearning, Neil Hyde, said of the B Corp certification: 'We’ve always believed that business can be a force for good.
'B Corp certification reinforces our long-standing values – ensuring we stay accountable to our people, planet, customers and community.'
