Have you ever dreamt of a career in the aerospace and defence industry, working on developing some of the most advanced aircraft in the world?
Then an apprenticeship at Moog Aircraft Group could be one of the most rewarding next steps.
With two apprenticeship pathways currently live at Moog, choose from an Advanced Level 3 manufacturing and engineering apprenticeship, which is equivalent to A-levels; or a Higher Level 4 and 5 engineering apprenticeship, which is equivalent to the first and second year of an undergraduate degree.
Moog's apprentices get the chance to gain a solid foundation in their chosen pathway, enjoying a 'performance culture that empowers people to achieve great things, where everyone trusts each other to do the right thing'.
The firm's academic program is delivered by Gloucestershire Engineering Training (GET) centre, with apprentices earning a competitive salary while working alongside experienced professionals at Moog's state-of-the-art £50 million smart factory in Tewkesbury, handily located next to Ashchurch train station.
Jessica Mason joined Moog as an apprentice in 2021. Speaking about the culture at the aerospace and defence giant, she said: 'In our workplace, informality fuels creativity and flexibility sparks growth.
'We don't mould people to fit the company – we let the company expand to fit the brilliance of each personality.'
Julia Seymour, recruitment manager at Moog, added: 'You’ll join a culture built on collaboration, empowerment and continuous learning.
'We don’t just offer jobs – we invest in your future, with dedicated career support and mentoring every step of the way.
'You’ll have the chance to make a real impact, contribute to meaningful charity initiatives and grow in an environment that values giving back. Plus, enjoy perks like our state-of-the-art on-site gym to keep your wellbeing in check!'
