SPG Property, a Wiltshire-based firm of chartered surveyors, has expanded into Gloucestershire, opening a new office space in Cirencester after securing a contract to manage Bishop’s Walk Shopping Arcade.

Acting as managing agents and joint letting agents on behalf of Padmanor Investments, the firm aims to improve the tenant line-up at the Cirencester shopping centre to give the retail space a welcomed boost after a tumultuous 2020.

SPG has also won several contracts to manage properties in Castle Street, Cricklade Street and Querns Business Centre in the area.

Its new office at Cirencester Office Park delivers a range of professional services, including property and asset management and valuations – improving local community environments, as well as serving commercial property owners and occupiers in Gloucestershire and beyond.

Spencer Gower, managing director at SPG Property, said: ‘Cirencester is a fantastic town and we are extremely excited to have set up an office in the capital of the Cotswolds.

‘Having been a consultant working in the town for the past two years, I believe that Cirencester has shown great resilience during the pandemic and is in a strong position to grow economically when we eventually get back to some kind of normality in 2021.’
