The organisers of Witcombe Festival have a new partnership with full-fibre broadband provider, Gigaclear, to give food and drink vendors at the event a reliable, ultrafast internet connection.

Witcombe Festival takes place in Brockworth from Friday 26 to Sunday 29 August 2022, with headliners including Craig David, Sean Paul and Rudimental - and Gigaclear has made huge efforts to extend its network to the festival site to help improve the experience for both vendors and ticketholders attending the event.

With over 70 food and drink vendors due to be on site, including many local businesses, the partnership with Gigaclear - which is the UK's leading rural full-fibre broadband provider - will allow them to quickly process payments during the festival.

Witcombe Festival founder, Joe Pointon, said: 'We are over the moon to have Gigaclear’s network providing next-generation connectivity at our festival. Being able to depend on reliable, ultrafast internet is a godsend. Plus, it future proofs the festival!'

Gigaclear CEO, Nick Rawlings, added: 'It is brilliant to see live events back in full force this year following the pandemic and we are delighted to be providing services to the Witcombe Festival.

'Our 900Mbps service, well above the national average of 50Mbps, will speed up transactions across the festival, keeping festivalgoers out of queues and instead enjoying the great live music.'
