Audiences can expect utter mayhem from Tweedy's Massive Circus when it comes to Cheltenham this July 2024.

When Tweedy promised that his Massive Circus was 'going to be mayhem', he wasn't joking!

As he takes his very first circus on tour this summer 2024, SoGlos got an exclusive first look at the show before it comes to Gloucestershire in July — and it packs an awful lot of action into its tiny big top!

The entertainment begins before the audience even gets inside, as Sam appears at the top of the tent to do some important 'safety' checks before the show gets underway.

Once inside, the audience is met with a colourful set and great views wherever they sit, with the tiny tent making for an intimate show with plenty of audience participation.

Tweedy and trusty sidekick, Keef, make an appearance to welcome everyone before the acts get underway — and it's chaos right from the start!

It's clear from the very beginning that Tweedy's plans have gone awry as he reveals to the audience that his acts haven't arrived, but he's got to try and keep his generous benefactor happy, or he'll blow his chance to take the show to Broadway.

You can imagine what happens next...

There's a daring balancing act, a dazzling aerial silks performance, an appearance from a 'real life' flying vampire and an incredible plate spinning performance — and that's just in the first half!

It may be hard to believe, but things get even more exciting after the interval, with the second act featuring a world-first high wire act, trouserless unicycling, aerial juggling, a time-travelling portaloo and even a dinosaur on aerial silks.

While the circus skills and physicality on display are formidable, it's Tweedy's signature brand of chaotic comedy that makes this show so memorable, with the audience literally crying with laughter multiple times throughout the show. The cast are allowed to run riot, much to the delight of everyone watching — and we think it'll be an unmissable highlight of summer 2024!

Tweedy's Massive Circus comes to Cheltenham Racecourse from Thursday 4 to Sunday 14 July 2024 with tickets costing from £35 for adults, £27.50 for children aged five to 12 and £17.50 for children under five.
