Giffords Circus is celebrating its 25th anniversary in style this 2025 – with the announcement of its first ever Christmas show.
The brand-new experience will be hosted at Fennells Farm, above the Slad Valley in Stroud, this November and December 2025.
The company's first foray into festive fun will see the return of Nancy Trotter Landry, alongside a talented ensemble of jugglers, cyr wheel and domestic animal acts.
Directed by John Walton and choreographed by Emma Campbell, a programme of aerial acts, clowning and 'inventive visual storytelling' will also make up the spectacle – all set to a festive score arranged by long-time Giffords collaborator, James Keaty and performed by Giffords' signature three-piece band.
The winter show will run from Thursday 27 November until Sunday 21 December 2025, where audiences can choose from two ticket types; a performance-only experience or circus with supper.
The latter will see ticket holders seated by the ring for a two-course feast, cooked and served up by the travelling restaurant team at Circus Sauce.
Taking to Instagram to announce the news, the company also revealed that Christmas at Giffords is the 'first new show to take shape under the leadership of Toti Gifford', who returned as founder and chairman earlier this year.
It also dubbed the new show 'the start of a new phase for the circus, as it looks ahead to the next generation'.
Toti said: 'Christmas at Giffords comes straight from our heart and takes audiences back to the early days of Giffords Circus.
'We’re full of nervousness, excitement but mostly creativity and we can’t wait to see people laughing and giggling with their families.'
Tickets are available to book now via the Giffords Circus website.
