Brewhouse and Kitchen in Gloucester has launched a Veteran Brew beer for Remembrance Day 2019.

A new beer is being launched in Gloucester this November, created by (and in honour of) the county’s veterans.

Gloucester Brewhouse and Kitchen welcomed a group of armed forced veterans into the brewery in Gloucester Quays to create the Veteran Brew, to commemorate Remembrance Day on Monday 11 November 2019.

The newly-brewed beer will also be available at a tapping party on Thursday 7 November 2019, where guests can enjoy free tasters. And the brewpub chain will also be making donations to a veteran’s charity every time a pint of the new Veteran Brew is sold.

Gail Bunn, the marketing manager for Brewhouse & Kitchen, said: ‘We really wanted to play our part in commemorating Remembrance Day this year, and what better way than to brew a unique beer for this important event?

‘It was great seeing veterans, the wider community and those with a connection to our armed forces spending time together in our brewpubs to remember and celebrate all those who have fought for our country.’
