The Ivy Montpellier Brasserie is capturing the magic of Christmas with the arrival of The Ivy Midnight Express, this November 2025.
Steaming into Cheltenham, the celebration is designed to transport guests to the ultimate festive paradise through delicious food and drink, evocative décor and exquisite dining experiences.
The
festive menus, launching on Wednesday 12 November 2025, are serving up traditional
festive favourites, along with The Ivy classics, as well as innovative flavours.
Inspired by the tale of Arthur, a young boy whose Christmas Eve adventure helps Santa back on track with his beloved train set, The Ivy Midnight Express brings the nostalgia of festive storytelling into the restaurant, with installations that combine twinkling lights, vintage charm and whimsical train motifs.
Festive menus span breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
Diners can start the day with some sparkle, with a festive breakfast featuring pigs in blankets, scrambled eggs, rösti and cranberry ketchup. Or there's a vegetarian alternative, complemented by festive pastries and drinks such as a pomegranate and spiced pear bellini.
The festive set menu, of two courses for £55 or three courses for £60, features starters of French onion soup; duck liver parfait with cranberry chutney; and tamarind beetroot and endive salad.

Main courses include turkey ballotine with apricot and cranberry stuffing, pan-fried sea bass with wild mushroom sauce and a plant-based lentil and aubergine bake.
Desserts offer flambéed Christmas pudding, The Ivy Santa (a playful vanilla parfait with white chocolate blondie) and the signature Ivy chocolate bombe.
For an afternoon treat, the festive
afternoon tea has savouries such as chicken Milanese and truffle
brioche rolls, warm fruited scones and decadent sweet treats, paired with teas,
infusions or Nyetimber English sparkling wine.
For guests looking for even more variety and choice over Christmas, the festive a la carte menu has plenty to enjoy.
Featuring delights from the festive set menu and more, the a la carte also includes dishes such as a lobster and cheese soufflé, twice-baked in a rich cream sauce with lobster and samphire; and a chicken bourguignon with smoked pancetta, chestnut mushrooms and pearl onions, served with a red wine sauce and green beans.
Families haven't been forgotten, with a naughty elves breakfast offering a family-friendly experience with
interactive entertainment, festive pastries and themed breakfast dishes
designed for both adults and children.
Celebrations extend beyond Christmas Day, with curated menus for Boxing Day brunch, Twixmas dining and New Year’s Eve, featuring indulgent dishes such as tableside lobster linguine, fillet steak and Champagne-inspired desserts.
