It's a new year — and a new look — for Leisure at Cheltenham, as it unveils its brand-new gym following a month of renovations in January 2025.
On a mission to improve visitor experience, the leisure centre, which is managed by the Cheltenham Trust, has worked with Cheltenham Borough Council to completely refit its gym facilities and create a 'fresh, modern fitness suite' for members.
Covering a wide range of functional fitness activities, whatever your go-to workout, the gym now includes new open spaces and state-of-the-art equipment, as well as boxing zones and TRX stations.
Other features like a sled-track, ideal for HIIT and Hyrox training, have also been added to further transform the space.
The new-look gym opens with a soft launch on Friday 27 December 2024, with some minor building works still being carried out, before officially relaunching when it's fully complete on Thursday 2 January 2025.
New members benefit from no joining fees from Friday 27 December 2024, too, removing one more barrier for people looking to start their fitness journey in 2025.
