The Brewery Quarter is welcoming a new wellness-focused addition to its stable, with boutique reformer Pilates venue, The Studio Cheltenham, opening this February 2026.

Founded by former Team GB badminton player Fontaine Wright, The Studio Cheltenham aims to bring 'performance-led training into a welcoming setting' by providing an inclusive space for people of all fitness levels, with state-of-the-art equipment and a calming interior.

With a team of five instructors, The Studio Cheltenham offers two classes – Strength & Dynamic Reformer, providing a full body strength session using weighted resistance; and Dynamic Reformer, which it describes as a full body flow combining the principles of Pilates with strength and conditioning.

Classes cost £30 each, with discounted five, 10 and 20 class packs available – or there's a membership option for £200 per month for up to 10 classes per month.

Reformer Pilates has been growing in popularity in the last couple of years, thanks to professional athletes, celebrities and wellbeing influencers – and its promise to deliver strong, sculpted results, with improved core strength, posture and mobility.

Fontaine said: 'Reformer Pilates is becoming increasingly popular – but after completing a 12-week training course in 2018, I knew it was more than a trend.

'It’s about moving with intention, building real strength and most importantly feeling good in your mind and body. Sharing my love of movement with my professional sporting experiences and knowledge in high performance training, I wanted to create somewhere that was full of energy, motivating and accessible to all levels of fitness, without it being intimidating.'

Nikki Kontarines, director of Martin Commercial Properties, managing agents for The Brewery Quarter, added: 'We’re delighted to welcome The Studio to The Brewery Quarter. It’s a great addition to our wellbeing and leisure offer and brings a contemporary, design-led approach to fitness that will resonate strongly with today’s wellness-focused audience.'

The Studio Cheltenham officially opens on Saturday 7 February 2026 on Oxford Passage, behind Cineworld.
